DIY Candlestick display holder

I want to share this little project with you.  I'm always looking for new displays for in my shop and I love to alter pieces, so here is one of my newest projects.
I had this candle holder laying around my house moving from one box to another.  I was about to send it to the thift shop when I decided I could do something with it. It was dark brown, so I got the spray paint out.

Next I sanded it down and made it shabby chic.  I found these cute little turquoise dishes and glued them on.  I than took some lace trim and tied knots and finished it off with little pearls and crytals dangling from the lace.  Hope you enjoy!!
